Magic Sharpener allows a user to get dramatically improved the look of images by perceived sharpness increasing without color halos and increased color noise. This plug-in increases the contrast along edges and gets more sharpness and contrast to fine details making them more visible. Install and uninstall procedures : |
Run setup file. Installer try to find suitable graphic hosts. Choose
one of them from the list. If you want to install plug-in in other
folder, select item "Other path" and set path. In this case you
must set "Plug-ins path" of your graphic host to setup folder.

- Zoom tool
Use this tool for zooming. Click to zoom in. Right-click to zoom out.

Click and drag to pan images larger than the windows.
- Radius
Deals with the size of image fuzziness in pixels
- Edge sharpness
Increases the amplitude and steepness of image fine details.
- Prevent noise amplification
Check this flag to prevent noise increasing in selected noisy image sample.
- Noise level
Decreases the extent of noise amplification
Using Magic Sharpener
This plug-in works under RGB or Grayscale image with 8 or 16 bits/channel with or without transparency.
- Open an image in your graphic editor
- Run the Magic Sharpener plug-in. (For example, in the Adobe Photoshop use "Filter->Image Skill->Magic Sharpener" menu item).
- Adjust plug-in parameters for desirable result achievement.
- Press OK button and return to host.
